What is OpenValues?

OpenValues brings four things together:

1. Philosophy: What do we want to protect, and why?
2. Method: How do we distinguish sources, assumptions, value questions and counterarguments?
3. Practice: What helps people and communities in real life?
4. Open infrastructure: How do reasons, changes and power remain inspectable?

AI is an instrument in this work. It may explain, compare and point to blind spots. It is not a final moral or political authority.

OpenValues does not claim to define the good life once and for all. It builds a form in which people can make their reasons visible and revise them through experience.
