Disagreement

Disagreement means that people weigh the same information differently or start from different premises.

OpenValues does not try to smooth these differences away too early. A fair summary records majority and minority positions, names their strongest arguments and shows where they actually diverge.

Disagreement is not automatically equally valuable or equally well supported. It is a signal to look more closely.
